Location

Location is used only to show resources near you. You may decline location access and search by ZIP code instead. Precise location is not stored with your account or sold, and you can revoke the permission at any time in your device settings. Background location is not collected.

Cookies

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies for site function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. You can block cookies in your browser; core features will still work.

Analytics

We use aggregate analytics to understand which categories and communities need the most support and to fix problems. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individuals seeking help.

Verification

GracePath Connect allows participating organizations to verify specific facts only with your explicit consent.

Verification may include:

  • Identity confirmed
  • Program participation
  • Volunteer service
  • Employment confirmation
  • Housing program enrollment

Organizations cannot rate your character or predict future behavior. You control who can see each verification and may revoke access at any time.

Donations

Donations are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive donor name, email and amount for receipting and acknowledgment. We never store full payment card details and we never sell or rent donor information.

How we use information

  • To display accurate local resources and community updates.
  • To operate accounts, volunteer sign-ups and organization dashboards.
  • To perform consent-based verification you have requested.
  • To maintain security, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
  • To report aggregate impact to funders — never individual-level data.

We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, email, analytics, payments), with organizations when you explicitly consent, and when required by law.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to operate the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Data deletion

You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app or by emailing connect@gracepath.app. We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except records we must retain for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continually improve our safeguards to reduce risk.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party service providers for cloud hosting, mapping, authentication, analytics, notifications, and payment processing. Categories of providers we may use include Supabase, Stripe, Google Maps, Firebase, and OneSignal.
